Data-Driven Buildings are a win-win solution for users as well as for companies in the construction business ecosystems, exploiting new and emerging proptechs to develop value added services along the life cycle of buildings. This claims for a new customer experience and new data valorization and monetization strategies. Finally, for effectively evaluating and communicating the impact of buildings in the society, there is a need to establish a new standard/reference for ESG reporting for smart buildings and to define KPIs and Indicators for supporting and informing policy-makers in defining proper modes for assessing the effectiveness of polices (incentives, taxation schemes) about next generation smart buildings.
